A sustainable finance and climate impact consultant with over 20 years of experience bridging the gap between investment strategy and the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. He currently serves as an Evaluation Specialist at the United Nations Environment Programme, where he assesses nature-based transformation projects.
A dual Master’s graduate—in Econometrics from Paris Nanterre University and in Management from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris—Thomas has worked across many African countries. His portfolio includes structuring carbon credit projects for Congo-Brazzaville, designing climate resilience instruments for the United Nations’ Climate Technology Centre and Network, and implementing compensation systems for communities affected by the East African Crude Oil Pipeline in Uganda.
Fluent in French, and English, Thomas has moderated high-level panels at COP29 and Africa Energy Week, where he has convened former presidents and ministers to advance climate justice for Africa. His expertise lies at the intersection of climate finance, digital innovation (blockchain, artificial intelligence), and inclusive community resilience.
